Estimating Specialist
Estimating Department, Warsaw (ul. Skierniewicka 14) - on-site. Preparing tenders and estimates for contract furniture projects together with the estimating team and the Cost Manager.

Your responsibilities
- preparing and sending out tender enquiries,
- analysing project documentation and preparing scopes for estimation,
- compiling documentation, drawings, specifications and summaries needed for tendering,
- obtaining, organising and comparing subcontractor quotes,
- running quick calculations and an initial assessment of the profitability of individual scopes,
- supporting the estimating team in preparing project estimates,
- maintaining summaries of prices, offers, deadlines and potential contractors,
- monitoring offer submission deadlines and filling in missing information,
- cooperating with the Cost Manager and the sales, technology, production, purchasing and delivery departments.
Our requirements
- experience in the furniture, interior fit-out or a related industry,
- basic experience in estimating and preparing tenders,
- ability to read project and technical documentation,
- ability to quickly estimate costs and assess the profitability of a scope,
- very good knowledge of Excel,
- efficiency in handling correspondence and preparing clear summaries,
- accuracy, speed of action and very good organisation of work,
- independence and the ability to manage several topics at once,
- communication skills and persistence in obtaining information from subcontractors,
- knowledge of materials, fittings and technologies used in furniture production,
- knowledge of the market of furniture manufacturers and subcontractors.
