Project Manager - furniture industry

Warsaw - mobile role across Poland. End-to-end delivery of furniture projects, from handover to acceptance and close-out.

Your responsibilities

end-to-end delivery of furniture projects - from taking over the project to acceptance, settlement and close-out;
planning and updating the delivery, installation and project schedules;
accountability for delivering the project within scope, deadline, budget, target margin and quality standards;
day-to-day communication with the client, general contractor, designers and other project stakeholders;
coordinating site measurements, technical approvals, documentation and production preparation;
cooperation with the technology, production, purchasing, logistics, planning and installation departments;
planning and supervising deliveries and the work of installation teams and subcontractors;
monitoring project costs, progress and profitability, and reporting key risks and variances;
managing project scope changes and agreeing their impact on costs and deadlines;
organising partial and final acceptances and preparing as-built and settlement documentation;
coordinating defect resolution, complaints and service activities.

at least one year of experience as a Project Manager;
experience in the furniture, construction and installation, or commercial fit-out industry;
ability to run several projects at once and manage schedule, budget and risk;
ability to read design and technical documentation;
English or German at minimum B1 level, B2 preferred;
excellent organisation and well-developed communication and negotiation skills;
independence, accountability and effectiveness in solving problems;
ability to work under time pressure and in changing conditions;
good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
readiness to travel for work and a category B driving licence.

experience delivering projects for hotels, offices, student housing, build-to-rent or other commercial developments;
knowledge of bespoke furniture production and installation processes;
experience working with general contractors, investors and installation crews.
